Drs. Bonita Blazer and Mary Ann Ager have each been in private practice since 1984.  They met in 1988 and formed a strong bond sharing a passion to work with clients in desperate need for hope, support, and direction.  Specifically, they are dedicated to children and their families challenged with learning and medical disabilities, especially when they occur together.

Drs.  Ager and Blazer have deep compassion for the needs of their patients. Although medication is a key piece of treatment, patients and families need to understand their condition and learn behavioral, organizational, and social skills to reach optimal outcomes. Both doctors are committed to working with families, teachers, caregivers, spouses to provide practical and effective resources that

help.  Together they have invented a toolbox of strategies for dealing with real people, real problems, and deliver real solutions. They believe in each other’s perspectives and the part each discipline plays; and even more strongly believe in each other’s training to bring another critical point of view to the comprehensive support that this population requires.

Drs. Blazer and Ager’s mission is to reach the millions of families who would never get help due to lack of access and insufficient financial resources. They seek organizations to distribute their materials at no cost to the patient and their families. Through partnering with pharma companies such as Shire, UCB, and Novartis, over five million of their books have been distributed to patients over the past fifteen years.
